This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Shade Patch, a trademark brand operated by Sombra LLLP ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below.
IMPORTANT PRODUCT USE & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Shade Patch is a cosmetic and textile UPF product only. It is neither a medical device nor a drug, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Shade Patch should be used solely for cosmetic and aesthetic purposes and/or as a textile-based UPF accessory.

Any references to skin protection, sun protection, or cosmetic benefits are non-medical in nature.

Shade Patch should only be used in a medical or therapeutic context if expressly recommended by a licensed physician (MD).

Sombra LLLP and Shade Patch assume no liability for any use of the product outside its intended cosmetic and textile context.
By purchasing and using Shade Patch, you acknowledge and agree that use is at your own risk and that Sombra LLLP is not responsible for adverse reactions, misuse, or off-label application of the product.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
Due to the personal-care nature of Shade Patch, we offer a 5-day return window from the date your order is delivered.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unopened, unused, unworn, and in its original, sealed packaging

The product must be in the same condition as when received

You must provide proof of purchase or receipt
Opened or used products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
HOW TO START A RETURN
To request a return, please contact us at hello@shadepatch.com within 5 days of delivery.
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
If your return request is approved, you will receive return instructions. Customers are responsible for:

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, offer a replacement or refund if the claim is approved.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

Sale or discounted items

Gift cards

Custom, personalized, or special-order products

Items classified as personal care or hygiene products once opened

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

EXCHANGES
We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, please:

Submit a return request for the eligible item

Place a new order once the return is approved
This ensures the fastest processing and availability.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Processing may take up to 10 business days after approval

Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product
