Made by two sisters who couldn't find it, so they built it.

Founded by two sisters, both moms in their forties, who couldn't find what they needed, so they built it: a lab-tested UPF 50+ patch that goes exactly where you need it.

Lab-tested. Here's the proof.

Shade Patch fabric is tested to the same international standards used for UPF protective clothing. A calibrated UV light source shines through the textile and a detector measures what passes through.

Is Shade Patch a sunscreen?

No. Shade Patch is not sunscreen. It's a lab-tested UPF 50+ adhesive textile patch that creates a physical fabric barrier on the skin, like UPF clothing for one spot.

How long does one patch last?

Each patch is designed for one full day of wear. It's single-use, for hygiene, consistent adhesive performance and reliable UV blocking.

Can I wear it in water?

Yes. The 4-way stretch textile moves with your body and the adhesive is designed to resist sweat and water: wearable in the ocean, while cycling or hiking, and for all-day outdoor use. No adhesive is 100% waterproof under extreme conditions (long submersion, rough waves or high-pressure water), so apply it to clean, dry skin and press firmly for 10 seconds before you get wet.

Which size should I choose?

Shade Spot (2 cm round, 20 per pack): small moles and dark spots.
Original (7 × 4 cm, 5 per pack): scars, moles and everyday use.
XL (16 × 18 cm, 5 per pack): tattoos, shoulders and the upper back.
